Made with peat from North-East Scotland and matured in first fill bourbon barrels to reach the subltly smokey and maritime character of Glen Scotia 10 year old Peated.
It is a perfectly balanced single malt with smouldering peat with briny influence, baked apple and cloves on the nose and flavors of lemon, vanilla syrup and fresh cut barley on the palate. It has a long and drying finish with gentle, sweet peat notes and black pepper.
Campbeltown is a small town on the west coast of Scotland. It was once home to over thirty distilleries in the Victorian Era. Now only 3 distilleries have survived through to the present day.
